Barbora Jensik

Founder and Principal Recruiter, Recberry s.r.o.

Barbora Jensik (previously published as Balazikova) is a principal recruiter and founder based in Vlašim, Czech Republic, with 20+ years of experience in technical talent acquisition across Central and Eastern Europe and Western markets. She founded Recberry s.r.o. in May 2015 and remains its principal operator. She works in English, Czech, and Slovak, and has led recruitment engagements for engineering, security, AI/ML, DevOps, and infrastructure roles across multiple geographies.

Before founding Recberry, Barbora held technical recruitment roles with Skype, Avast, Barclays, and Kiwi.com — scaling engineering teams during high-growth phases at each. Across two decades she has reviewed tens of thousands of CVs, conducted thousands of interviews, and observed the patterns that determine whether senior technical candidates are hired, ignored, or rejected.

Barbora founded Recberry because she did not want to operate within the constraints of traditional recruitment agencies, which she observed prioritising KPIs, administrative throughput, and revenue over candidate outcomes and quality of hire. Her positioning thesis is that recruitment is a technical system with measurable inputs and fixable failure points, and that most companies and most job seekers are failing not because the people are inadequate but because the system they are operating in is broken in ways that are visible to recruiters with sufficient experience and invisible to almost everyone else.
